Are you an international student serious about pursuing a world-class
education in the United States?
LEARN IN THE U.S., the college preparatory product designed
specifically for international student applicants, will provide you
with the insider information you need start your education in America.

In an increasingly global marketplace, the educational system of the
United States simply remains the best in the world. Let's look at the
facts:
* Colleges in the United States are continually regarded as the best
and most prestigious institutions of higher education anywhere in
the world. In the 2010 Academic Ranking of World Universities,
American schools occupied 19 of the top 25 global school positions
and eight of the top ten positions!
* Degrees from American universities open up a wealth of professional
opportunities in the U.S. and across the entire world. U.S. degrees
also boast the best educational return on investment anywhere.
According to a recent study, American schools bring about
incomparable returns on investment: for instance, schools like
Massachusetts Institute of Technology yields its graduates
$1,688,000, the California Institute of Technology brings a
$1,644,000 return and Harvard University delivers $1,631,000 to its
graduates.
* American universities hold an overwhelming majority of the world's
endowment wealth allowing them to create and maintain the most
advanced campuses, research facilities and programs in education.
In a ranking of the world's schools by endowment wealth, 18 out of
the top 25 and, amazingly, 8 of the top 10, are located in the
United States. Harvard University alone boasts endowment wealth
totaling over $36.9 billion!
* An undeniable number of the world's most powerful leaders and
wealthiest business figures emanate from U.S. schools. Many started
as international students who studied in the United States and they
all went on to positions of global stature and influence. Here's a
small sample:

Juan Manuel Santos - President of Colombia (originally from Colombia;
studied at University of Kansas, Harvard University, Tufts University)

Felipe Calderón - President of Mexico (originally from Mexico; studied
at Harvard University)Ban Ki-moon - United States Secretary General
(originally from South Korea; studied at Harvard University)

Anil Dhirubhai Ambani - Chairman of Reliance Anil Dhirubhai AmbaniGroup
and fourth richest person in India (originally from India; studied at
The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania)

Robin Li - Founder of Baidu, China's most popular search engine
(originally from China, studied at SUNY-Buffalo)

Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal - Member of Saudi Royal Family, investor,
entrepreneur and the world's 26th richest person (originally from Saudi
Arabia, studied at Menlo College and Syracuse University)

Michael Moritz - Venture capitalist and renowned Internet investor;
backer of Google, Yahoo!, Paypal, Apple and Cisco, among other
companies (originally from Wales, UK; studied at The Wharton School,
University of Pennsylvania)

Len Blavatnik - Investor and sixth richest person in the U.K.
(originally from Russia; studied at Harvard University)

Jaime Zobel de Ayala - Prominent businessman and philanthropist; former
chairman of Ayala Corporation. (originally from Philippines; studied at
Harvard University)

Endowment wealth is also a signal of the vast wealth created by those
institutions' alumni. Much of these alumni give back to the schools
they attended and continue to provide opportunities to their schools'
current graduates.

In addition to being a superior return on investment and source of
world-class resources and training, education in the U.S. is simply an
eye-opening, cross-cultural and, often times, invaluable life
experience. For instance:
* American schools are often diverse and stimulating environments for
cross-cultural dialogue, social engagement and broadening of
personal horizons.
* U.S. universities serve as important centers of entrepreneurial
activity. Global Internet giants like Facebook and Google were
originally founded on the campuses of U.S. schools.
* Many U.S. colleges are situated on some of picturesque landscapes
and feature some of the most stunning architecture to be found
anywhere in the world. Some U.S. colleges are actually located on
spectacular beaches while others are found at the foot of
breathtaking mountain ranges.

The superior level of education along with the world-class facilities,
exposure to cross-cultural experiences and untold global professional
opportunities that await with a degree from a top American college
makes it the most attractive destination to pursue an advanced
education...anywhere!

But the reality is it's tough for the average international student to
get admitted to top American schools.

Yet, in order to earn this education, you must first get accepted to
the American schools of your choice: one of the most difficult tasks
you have likely ever undertaken in life so far. And the application
process is more competitive for international students than it's ever
been.

Look at the most recent statistics:
* A record high number of international students, over 690,000, are
currently studying in the U.S.
* The increase in student enrollment from China alone last year was
30%!
* International student application and enrollment growth trends at
U.S schools continue to break long term records. And these
international students continue to come in waves from countries as
varied as The Philippines, Pakistan, Nepal, Canada, India, South
Korea, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Mexico, Brazil, Thailand, Columbia,
Malaysia and Indonesia, just to name a few.
* Each year, nearly one million individuals take the TOEFL, the Test
of English as a Foreign Language - a requirement for non-English
speaking students wanting to study in the United States. Nearly one
million!

As a result, it's becoming more competitive than ever to get into
American schools, both for foreign and American students.

Many highly competitive American colleges report that they are becoming
much more selective due to steady growth in the college-bound
population and an influx of international student applications, without
a matching rise in the number of seats available at the top
schools. For instance, less than 1 in 10 applicants have a chance of
being accepted into widely acclaimed American schools like Harvard,
Yale and Princeton. Less than 1 in 10!

And as American universities become more and more selective in
accepting applicants, it will become more and more important for
applicants like you to present the right mix of the following
attributes in their application to get accepted:
* Academic performance
* Extracurricular involvement
* SAT and/or ACT scores
* Communication and analytical skills
* Athletic and artistic pursuits
* Future aspirations

It also becomes essential for you to really know the answers to the
important questions related to the specific schools you are applying to
like:
* Why are you applying to the specific school you've selected? What
about it specifically appeals to you?
* What major(s) are you likely to pursue?
* How will you be involved in the student life and extracurricular
organizations the school offers?
* Where are you likely to live if you attend that school?
* What types of work-study and/or employment opportunities will you
pursue during your academic career?
* How will you pay for school and living expenses?

If all of that wasn't enough, for international applicants like
yourself, the task of applying to us schools is even more stressful,
difficult and competitive than it is for American students. This is
because you need to :
* Research and figure out the best U.S. colleges for you to apply to.
This task is extremely difficult because international students
naturally have limited knowledge of the real details behind the
thousands of quality collegiate programs in the U.S. International
students also have little ability to get the same quality
information American students can get on these colleges quickly and
are hindered by the relative inability to visit these schools in
person easily.
* Excel on the TOEFL, the Test of English as a Foreign Language. If
you do not perform well on this test and cannot convince admissions
officers at American schools that you can understand English well
enough to keep up in class and communicate, you simply won't be
accepted.
* Secure a Student Visa. Being accepted into an American college for
study is, in and of itself, not enough for you to begin study in
the U.S.A.; you must also successfully secure the right student
visa in order to begin your studies in the U.S. If you're
uninformed, this can be a complex and confusing process that is
easy to mishandle. And if you don't secure the right visa
correctly, you cannot begin your studies under any circumstances.
* Learn how to write a compelling personal statement. The importance
of a personal statement or essay in U.S. college applications is
often overlooked by applicants, yet it serves as one of the most,
if not the most, critical component(s) that admissions committees
factor into deciding whether to accept an applicant. Unfortunately,
most foreign applicants do not know the secrets to mastering the
cultural and language related nuances as well as the overall essay
strategy needed to achieve this goal.

* Determine whether or not to use an International Education Agent
and determine how to find a quality if you choose to use one. While
not essential for getting into quality American schools, legitimate
International Educational Agents can make the complex process of
applying to U.S. colleges easier. However, this is only if you know
how to find the right quality agents.

So it's easy to see why, as an international student, you would be
attracted to going to school in the United States. The superior level
of education coupled with the world-class facilities, exposure to
cross-cultural experiences and untold global professional opportunities
that await with a degree from a top American college makes it the most
attractive destination to pursue an advanced education...anywhere!

Yet, in order to earn this education, you must first get accepted to
the American schools of your choice, one of the most difficult tasks
you likely have ever undertaken in life so far. And the application
process is more competitive for international students than it's ever
been.

Without question, it is only those international student applicants who
have access to the most reliable insider information and most trusted

Item #4: Cracking the TOEFL (book)

For International student applicants from non-English speaking
countries, conquering the TOEFL is a critical step in the journey
towards studying in the United States. Cracking the TOEFL provides an
essential guide for understanding and dominating each distinct section
of the test. Students who attempt to take the TOEFL without first
understanding the insider knowledge on how to take the test itself are
likely to underperform even if they have a solid understanding of the
English language. Cracking the TOEFL uncovers the steps needed to excel
on this test, thereby making your application more attractive than it
could ever be otherwise.

Specifically, Cracking the TOEFL covers:

Core Concepts: These are the skills which are basic to completing the
exam. The integrated tasks on the TOEFL fit together and these reveal
how they correlate.

Cracking: These are the necessary strategies one needs in order to
crack each type of question on the TOEFL.

Test-Taking Strategies and Advice: This is advice with which every
test-taker of the TOEFL should be familiar. This advice is not only
practical but it also takes into account various factors to also
consider.

Item #5: Top 10 International Student Host Schools in America (book)

Although the United States has a tremendous number, over 5,000, of
quality colleges and universities to choose from, there are a select
few that rank the highest for the sheer number of international
students they admit every year and teach on a regular basis. While the
absolute number of international students that an American school hosts
should never be the only, or even the main, criteria you look for when
seeking the right school for you as a foreign student, the statistic
does imply that these schools may very well may take the extra effort
in recruiting international students, have more programs and clubs
catered to the needs of international students and invest resources in
international students' successful transition to the U.S. Top 10
International Student Host Schools in America is an invaluable resource
that identifies the top 10 American colleges with the largest
international student bodies in the U.S. and provides the key academic
profile and student lifestyle information you need on each institution
to determine whether any should be in your consideration.

Item #6: America's Best Colleges Database (ABCD) (database file)

Most foreign student applicants complain about not having access to the
information and data that makes it easy for them to select the right
American colleges to apply to. We agreed that there should be a way for
applicants to easily compare and rank the hundreds of top colleges in
the United States. We also believed that applicants should be able to
sort and compare schools along criteria that meant the most to the
individual applicant. So we did something about it: we compiled the
America's Best Colleges Database (ABCD).

ABCD is a proprietary database (.csv file, Excel or comparable software
required to view) of over 300 of the United States' top colleges and
universities and includes essential data along multiple criteria for
every single one, giving you the power to sort and compare all of them
in any way you wish. Have you ever wanted to compare the average class
size, most popular majors, student faculty ratios or male/female
percentages of hundreds of schools at once? ABCD makes it possible and
gives you the ability to manage listings of America's best colleges in
a customized fashion specific to your needs. With ABCD you can
determine the schools that are best for you to apply to along the
criteria that mean the most to you. Here are just some of the data ABCD
provides for over 300 of America's most prestigious programs:

Number of applicants (yearly)

Percent accepted who enroll

Middle 50% SAT score range

Item #7: International Educational Agents - The Gold List (info list)

International Educational Agents are independent professionals who help
international students interested in pursuing educational opportunities
in countries other than their own navigate the research, application
and transition process.

These agents are not for all student applicants: they charge for their
services, they are unregulated and, unfortunately, offer varying levels
of quality and effectiveness. Some actually even commit fraud, taking
students' money without delivering what's promised and should be
avoided at all costs.

While you certainly do not at all need an international educational
agent to apply to American schools and make a successful transition to
education in the US, if you are in the market for one, the best ones
offer quality service and actually do help you achieve your goals.

So how can you find the quality International educational Agents in the
market and avoid the unscrupulous ones?

Our publication, International Educational Agents - The Gold List, is
one of the best ways. We list the best ones we know of who are
reputable and accredited in most cases. If you want to find the best
International educational Agents, start here.

The zorgium specific results appear in the right hand margin.

Find other ZORGIUM pages using your favorite search engine:

Enter your search keyword(s) and the keyword "zorgium" into the search input field of http://bing.com, http://yahoo.com or http://google.com.

Heads up: There's an ongoing spamdexing of Google searchbot algorithms. Sites that are 'copies of copies' and cloaked sites which include Zorgium keywords presented to search engine crawlers yet garbage content presented to human visitors were hosted on thousands of IP addresses and domains registered immediately after the introduction of Zorgium in November of 2009. The Hostgator/'The Planet'/Softlayer datacenters in Texas seem to be the epicenter of this activity in conjunction with anonymously registered domains of various TLD's but primarily .info domains at Godaddy which, in our opinion, has some sort of connection to the domains of goldmint.in and goldmint.org. Google has begun to notice this and has begun to lower the ranking of these sites and put our original sites back on top of the search rankings. These actions, as far as we can tell, negatively impact the use of the keyword 'zorgium' as a search term and provided little benefit, if any, to the perpetrators.

ZORGIUM note to content providers: If you don't want your page to appear in Zorgium's search abstraction then put an exclusion for "Zorgium" in your web server's robots.txt file.
